Technologies shape society and significantly impact our lives. Mobile devices have become pervasive and people should be empowered regarding this critical dependency. Software and hardware should be open, transparent and reusable to facilitate reuse, exchange and collaboration. The programme works towards better technologies to restore and maintain European sovereignty and secure democratic ownership of the digital society.
